The Community Sports Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Department of Recreation and Parks, honors those who have gained prominence and/or have made a substantial contribution to recreational sports in Howard County.

This year's inductees are Marie Curry, Paul Donovan, Jim McCauley, Bill McCormack, Jr., Joe Wall and Jim Yedlicka.

Their stories are being told over a span of three weeks. This is the second installment.

The induction ceremony will be held at the fifth annual Celebration of Sports scheduled for Oct. 22, 6 p.m., at the Ten Oaks Ballroom in Clarksville. Johnny Holliday, "The voice of the Maryland Terrapins," will be the keynote speaker. Tickets are $20 and include a buffet dinner.
