Elinor E. Iager

Elinor Iager, of Columbia, formerly of Laurel, died Dec. 15, 2008 of multiple illnesses at the Howard County Hospital. She was 87.

She was born Jan. 11, 1921 in Laurel and was a lifelong resident of Howard County.

Mrs. Iager was a homemaker. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Iager; sisters, Clara Iager and Olive Campbell; and her father and mother, Ernest and Susie (Walker) Latlief.

She is survived by her son, Robert K. Iager; niece, Dr. Linda Scheller Bradley; nephew, Larry Iager; and brothers-in-law, Howard L. Iager and John Campbell.

A funeral service was held at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel on Dec. 20, 2008, and the Rev. Cathy Ammlung officiated the service. Interment was at St. Paul's Church Cemetery in Fulton.
